Dear All:
Thank God for your prayers in the past 10 days! We have launched a biblical Counseling course “How people Change” since last Friday night at Paul Family fellowship. We are enriched by the depth of the course bible foundation and application to our hearts.
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Phil 1:3-6)
“Paul knows something that God wants us to know, too. No matter what you face today, you can be encouraged that God’s good work is continuing in your life. Every step you take, God is moving you forward as you submit your heart to him. This kind of confidence and growth will change the way we respond to Iife. It’s what moves us towards our ultimate goaI—the thing or which we were made—the praise and glory of God. Remember, Paul himself is in prison as he writes this letter of encouragement. How does this passage encourage you? It meant to encourage you to be full of hope in the midst of things you don’t understand- You don’t have to figure everything out. You just need to know and trust the One who does understand, and who has the power help you. Do you look at your life as Paul looked at the Philippians’ lives and his own? We are also giving thanks for what our Lord led at WED senior bible study that one sister announced to accept Christ in public and ready for baptism class. God is moving his steps in his way and please pray we are opening our eyes to follow Him.

在教导及生活实例讨论中，我尝试着将有些真理以图画在白板上，尤其是本教材的人生大图画（耶17:5-10）。这个做法很 快就把生活中碰到的困难、反应、结果、心、十字架的大图画显在眼前。后来姊妹们分享，这个大图画深印心中，生活中碰到事情时，这图画就自然而然地浮现出 来。最让我惊奇的是，这个小组每个姊妹都认真地做了”个人成长计划”。有一姊妹分享她挣扎了至少二十几年的问题。她从未好好思想面对这问题，这个功课逼得 她好好面对她的心，及神是怎样的神，神如何看待此事，等等。这个训练因属于补课，加上我时间有限，我尽量一次上完一课，总共上了14次，但每次时间有弹 性，有时超过了3个钟头。这个训练是每周聚集，而且这些姊妹原属同一团契，原本就熟，学习的动力从一开始很足。训练结束时，我询问姊妹们的反馈意见。她们 一致同意这可能是她们所受过培训中最有影响力的一个。她们认为可能的原因是：1）扎实的真理教导，真理以图解明，容易记得，生命大图画深印脑海；2）在一 个爱的团体，可以敞开分享生活困难，当场应用真理，并且祷告，让圣灵服事人。
